I;'m working on my very first quilt with Quiltmagine. I almost finished a zone when I ran out of bobbin thread. I must have done something wrong because I couldn't find the repair feature after fixing bobbin.
I had to turn the tablet off and now don't know if its possible to use repair feature.
Can someone advise?
Thanks, Alta M.
Once you turn the system off, QM forgets where the pattern is. Repair is still possible. Using the reference points you made and used to place the zone originally, replace the zone again. (When opening QM, go to Resume Zone Sewing Session, in Zone Manager, toggle to the zone that you are on) Tap on repair and move the machine to where you want to continue sewing. Tap on closest stitch. Look at the screen to see if it is in the correct place on the pattern. Also look at where the needle is. If it isn't over the top of the stitched pattern, use the jog buttons to align the needle over the stitch path on the quilt. Once aligned, pull the bobbin and sew.
The Repair feature is awesome and very accurate. The key is to make sure the needle is over the stitch path. You may need to use the jog buttons, or it may be OK with out having to do that. Once you use Repair, you will never be afraid of running out of bobbin again.
